Oligopeptide-62 is a synthetic peptide that exhibits growth factor-like activity and stimulates the proliferation of fibroblasts and activates the synthesis of collagen and fibronectin. It has the sequence Arg–Leu–Tyr–Cys–Lys–Asn–Gly–Gly–Phe–Phe–Leu–Arg that repeats a highly conserved part of Fibroblast growth factor 2 (FGF2) and known under the trade name CG-Liftin. The sequence appears in human basic Fibroblast Growth Factor (bFGF or FGF2 164-175) and bovine FGF2 (31-42).
According to the manufacturer's claims, Oligopeptide-62 is stable and has good skin permeability, promoting the renewal of all skin layers. It leaves the skin feeling tighter while smoothing out fine lines and wrinkles.
