X50 NeoSyno-Col® is a peptide-based complex designed to deliver active peptides directly to dermal fibroblasts to mitigate skin aging. X50 Capsules® advanced delivery system shields the actives from enzymatic degradation, optimizing transdermal delivery and extended bioavailability by dermal cell internalization (endocytosis).

X50 NeoSyno-Col® consists of a dual-layer biodegradable polymeric nanocapsule with two functional, well-studied, and effective peptides. An external peptide, Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4, is conjugated to the surface of the capsule to function as a targeting ligand. The internal core payload Copper Tripeptide-1 is protected, preventing its degradation by extracellular enzymes.

The outer Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 ligand exhibits selective affinity for specific surface receptors on human dermal fibroblasts. Upon binding, the capsule triggers receptor-mediated endocytosis, causing the fibroblast to internalize it. The cellular environment then degrades the polymeric shell, releasing Copper Tripeptide-1 directly within or adjacent to the target cell.

According to the manufacturer's tests, comparative in vitro data demonstrate that this targeted encapsulation system achieves superior efficiency. X50 NeoSyno-Col® effectively upregulates genes responsible for extracellular matrix components production, specifically collagen and elastin, at significantly lower usage levels than free, unencapsulated peptides applied topically. In vivo studies showed quantifiable structural improvements, including increased dermal density, reduced wrinkle depth, and enhanced tissue elasticity.
