X50® Pure White is an innovative peptide-based complex that brightens the skin in an intelligent way. It has three parts: an active peptide, a two-layer polymer capsule, and a "key" peptide or ligand attached to the outside of the capsule that binds to specific receptors on melanocytes, like a key/lock, ensuring direct delivery. This patented delivery system is called "Cosmetic Drone™ for whitening".

The key peptide (Palmitoyl sh-Tripeptide-5 Norisoleucyl sh-Nonapeptide-1) is a ligand peptide specific to the MC1R receptor, essential for melanin production. It prevents the signal sent by skin cells to stimulate melanin production using an α-MSH (α-Melanocyte-stimulating hormone) that can bind to MC1R on the cell wall of melanocytes.

Moreover, Palmitoyl sh-Tripeptide-5 Norisoleucyl sh-Nonapeptide-1 acts as a melanocyte targeting peptide. This cell-type specificity of the capsule with a selective ligand peptide boosts the effectiveness of the complex even in minimal concentrations, like a drone pointing at a target. 

After the drone capsule captures the cell's target, the "smart envelope" shell (core layer: PLGA; shell: PVA) breaks and releases the active peptide it contains. In this case, Palmitoyl sh-Octapeptide-24 Amide suppresses the activity of tyrosinase-related genes involved in melanin production. So, the complex has a dual effect, blocking the melanin-stimulating signal and reducing the key enzymes involved in melanin synthesis. Thus, it is very safe and effective in small concentrations.

X50® Pure White acts only in the hyperpigmented and discolored areas (on overexpressed melanocytes), helping even out skin tone, diminish dark spots, and provide a radiant glow. This intelligent ingredient recognizes and targets melanocytes with high accuracy, delivering optimal results with maximum effectiveness, excluding the "halo effect" and revealing an even, youthful, and balanced skin tone.
