3-Glyceryl Ascorbate is a stable vitamin C derivative produced by binding glycerin to ascorbic acid. It is a multifunctional anti-aging ingredient.

Because of its cost-benefit, 3-glyceryl Ascorbate is suitable for developing unique formulations containing a high concentration of vitamin C derivative. Formulations containing this ingredient have high temporal stability and are hard to discolor.

Derivatizing the unstable ascorbic acid with glycerin improves its stability against oxidation, so it is now possible to confidently formulate it into cosmetics. Like other glyceryl ascorbates, 3-glyceryl Ascorbate also has an inhibitory effect on melanin production and a moisturizing effect. It is suitable for anti-aging, anti-acne, and skin-whitening applications.

3-Glyceryl Ascorbate delivers additional beneficial effects, such as antioxidant action and boosting collagen production. It can be formulated into skin toners, gels, and emulsions, such as skin creams, thus allowing it to be used in various formulations and increased concentrations.
