INCI name
Ascorbyl Hyaluronate

Ascorbyl Hyaluronate is a stable derivative of vitamin C (Ascorbic acid) combined with hyaluronic acid. It is also known under the trade name Vita-HA.

Using a low molecular hyaluronic acid backbone as a delivery vehicle and stabilizer, vitamin C is delivered deep into the skin without losing its activity.

Ascorbyl Hyaluronate effectively acts as an antioxidant and skin-whitening agent, inhibiting melanin synthesis while boosting collagen biosynthesis and skin regeneration. In addition, it lessens proinflammatory prostaglandin PGE2 production, leaving a noticeable soothing and anti-inflammatory effect.

Compared to hyaluronic acid, Ascorbyl Hyaluronate accelerates dermal tissue regeneration and collagen production more effectively. It also provides the same skin hydration level, volume, and smoothing effect.
