Myristoyl hexapeptide-23 is a synthetic lipo-peptide with antibacterial properties against Propionibacterium acnes (Cutibacterium acnes). It is a water-soluble white powder known under the trade name SymPeptide® 380 (from the Trilysylines® family, containing three lysine residues; from Therapeutic Peptides Inc). The sequence is Myristoyl-Ala-Lys-Lys-Leu-Lys-Leu-NH2.

Incorporated into skincare preparations, Myristoyl hexapeptide-23 effectively eliminates acne-inducing bacteria (P. acnes), reducing skin irritation and excessive sebum production, and preventing dermal infections such as folliculitis or acne vulgaris.
