CITRULLUS VULGARIS FRUIT EXTRACT

Watermelon (Citrullus Vulgaris) is a native of Africa, the Mediterranean Region, and Southern Asia. It has been a staple food of Egyptians, the people of the Near East, and Southern Asia since the earliest times.

Citrullus Vulgaris fruits may weigh up to 30 pounds when mature and are rich in Vitamins A and C. Watermelon, as its name would imply, is an excellent source of pure water. When mixed with a bit of honey and a teaspoonful of lemon juice, the juice is cooling and helps reduce body temperature, so it is given during a fever.

The queens of ancient Egypt would refresh themselves by cutting a ripe watermelon into slices and, while lying down on a bed, spreading the slices over their faces and necks. After an hour, they would arise refreshed, with their skin tight and moisturized.

Citrullus Vulgaris Fruit Extract is a light to pale yellow liquid with a characteristic odor. It is soluble in water in any proportion. It is an excellent natural ingredient for hydrating, refreshing, and insect-repellent properties.

Citrullus Vulgaris Fruit Extract is used in skin cleansers, creams, masks, gels, and treatment products. It can also be found in shampoos, conditioners, and bath care products.
