Epoxycyclohexylethyl Polysilsesquioxane is a hybrid molecule with an inorganic silsesquioxane at the core and organic epoxy cyclohexyl groups attached at the corners of the cage. It is a clear, pale yellow/orange semi-solid. It is soluble in aromatic and aliphatic epoxy resins and insoluble in water, glycerine, and ethanol.

Epoxycyclohexylethyl Polysilsesquioxane provides improved heat tolerance and excellent water and solvent resistance. It is used in nail and hair care applications as a compatibilizer, rheological diluent, carrier, and adhesion promoter to keratin.

Epoxycyclohexylethyl Polysilsesquioxane shows excellent adhesion to keratin and colorants. It is robustly resistant to humidity and UV radiation and has a strong dispersion capability for key ingredients and effects.
