Epoxycyclohexylethyl Polysilsesquioxane is a hybrid molecule with an inorganic silsesquioxane at the core and organic epoxy cyclohexyl groups attached at the corners of the cage. It is a clear, pale yellow to orange semi-solid. It is soluble in aromatic and aliphatic epoxy resins, but insoluble in water, glycerin, and ethanol.

Epoxycyclohexylethyl Polysilsesquioxane offers enhanced heat tolerance and excellent resistance to water and various solvents. It is used in nail and hair care applications as a compatibilizer, rheological diluent, carrier, and adhesion promoter to keratin.

Epoxycyclohexylethyl Polysilsesquioxane shows excellent adhesion to keratin and colorants. It is robustly resistant to humidity and UV radiation and has a strong dispersion capability for key ingredients and effects.
