Rosa Canina (Rosehip) oil is an emollient oil obtained from the seed of a rosehip, high in essential fatty acids. It softens skin, helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and repairs damaged skin.

For many years, rosehip seed oil has been produced exclusively by extraction, steeping rosehip seeds in hexane. The oil is then deodorized, winterized, and stabilized in this case. The refining process allows the solvent to be removed. An antioxidant also protects the Rosa Canina seed oil.

After years of research and trials across several laboratories and firms, it is now possible to produce Rosa Canina seed oil under pressure (maximum process temperature: 38 °C). The composition of fatty acids remains similar; however, the appearance is slightly different: the cold-pressed oil has a pleasant orange color.

Rosa canina seed oil is high in omega-6 fatty acids, including GLA (gamma-linoleic acid) and vitamin C; it is highly beneficial for skin maintenance and repairing damaged skin. Rosehip is ideal for regenerative skincare and helps reduce wrinkles, stretch marks, scars, and sun damage. In addition, it helps with hormonal imbalances and slows the aging process when used daily.

The powerful antioxidant abilities of Rosehip work well to soothe, soften, and regenerate skin. Rosa Canina seed oil helps prevent signs of aging, reduces pigmentation, and gives skin a healthy glow. It is an excellent ingredient for dry, mature, and aging skin.
