Methyl Undecenoyl Leucinate (Undecylenoyl Leucine Methyl Ester; Und-Leu-O-Me) is a modified amino acid with skin whitening properties. According to the manufacturer's claim, it acts as an α-MSH antagonist, blocking the Melanocortin 1 receptor (MC1R) and preventing its activation by α-MSH, thereby reducing melanin production.

In vitro and in vivo studies conducted by the manufacturer revealed that Methyl Undecenoyl Leucinate is more effective and safe than other popular skin whitening agents, suggesting it for face and body care applications. Moreover, it showed anti-inflammatory effects on the skin after UV exposure.
