Functions
Antioxidant
Moisturizer
INCI name
Saccharomyces/Germanium Ferment
Identifier
CIG-1751

Germanium has been included for its free radical scavenging properties and ability to improve oxygen utilization. Saccharomyces cerevisiae fermentation in Germanium ions-rich media results in a complex wherein polypeptides function as carriers of Ge4+-containing minerals.

Saccharomyces/Germanium Ferment is a Baker's yeast-produced protein complexed with Germanium minerals that provide smoothing, moisturizing, and cell-renewing capabilities to skin and hair in an aqueous, bioactive form. It is used in Shampoo, conditioners, leave-in products, face and hair treatments, body lotions, and facial moisturizers.
