PEG-50 Hydrogenated Castor Oil is a 50-mole ethoxylate of hydrogenated castor oil. It is a multifunctional, water-soluble emulsifier used in personal care formulations.
PEG-50 Hydrogenated Castor Oil is a solid in the form of a soft paste. Its HLB value is 13.5 and is used as a powerful emulsifier, pigment dispersant, solubilizer, and wetting agent.
PEG-50 Hydrogenated Castor Oil is resistant to hydrolysis and is used in various formulations, including those with acidic and alkaline properties. It may also enhance the gelling properties of other surfactants in water-in-oil emulsions.
