PEG-5 Oleammonium Methosulfate is a light yellow-cream liquid with a characteristic odor, an easy-to-use organic quaternary ammonium compound, compatible for use in anionic systems and, therefore, "2 in 1" formulations. Derived from Oleic Acid, this ingredient offers light conditioning to skin and hair and has film-forming properties in specific formulations.

PEG-5 Oleammonium Methosulfate acts as a water-soluble conditioning, thickening, and light moisturizing agent, compatible with anionic surfactants. It is a cationic surfactant with antimicrobial properties. It is used in skin or hair care products at 0.5-5.0% (w/w).
