INCI name
Glutamoyl Dipeptide-55 Gamma Tetrapeptide-58

Glutamoyl Dipeptide-55 Gamma Tetrapeptide-58 is a synthetic heptapeptide using one of the small peptide sequences of proteins in soybeans. The manufacturer claims antioxidant, skin whitening, and wrinkle improvement actions. It has the sequence γ-Glu-Cys-γ-Glu-Cys-Gly-His-Lys and is known under the trade name Catchitide-1.

Glutamoyl Dipeptide-55 Gamma Tetrapeptide-58 is designed to have multi-functional effects such as antioxidant, anti-aging, and wrinkle smoothing by combining the cysteine sequence with a matrikine tripeptide (Gly-His-Lys; Tripeptide-1), which is effective in collagen proliferation. In addition, the Glutathion-like γ-Glu-Cys motif exhibits antioxidant properties, with noticeable citoprotective action.

According to the manufacturer's tests, Glutamoyl Dipeptide-55 Gamma Tetrapeptide-58 was confirmed to have more than 150% superior effect to existing tripeptides.
