PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides is a blend of ethoxylated (with an average of 6 moles of ethylene oxide) glycerides (mono- and diglycerides) derived from coconut fatty acids (C8-C10). It is a pale yellow liquid used as a water-soluble emollient.
PEG-6 Caprylic/Capric Glycerides can act as a surfactant while also moisturizing due to its refatting properties. This ingredient is ideally suited to haircare and bath products, where its luxurious after-feel, combined with its solubilization and emulsification properties, is best leveraged.
