Aprilose

Trideceth-9 is a tridecyl alcohol ethoxylate with 9-mole ethylene oxide, a biodegradable nonionic surfactant with good emulsifying properties. It is a water soluble, clear to slightly hazy liquid without odor.

Polysorbate 81 is an oleic acid ester of sorbitol, and its mono- and dianhydrides copolymerized with approximately 5 moles of ethylene oxide. It is a clear pale yellow liquid that is dispersible in water and mineral oils and is soluble in vegetable oils. It may gel on standing.

PPG-5-Ceteth-20 is an alkoxy ether of cetyl alcohol, a heteropolymer of ethylene and propylene oxides. It is a water-soluble nonionic liquid surfactant.

PEG-40 Castor Oil is a pale yellow-colored liquid, a nonionic surfactant with an HLB value of 13. It is an ideal low-foaming emulsifier for oil in water (o/w) emulsions.

Di-PPG-3 Ceteth-4 Adipate is a synthetic gentle "detackifying" emollient designed for mildness in leave-on products, especially for sensitive skin or where abrasion is involved in the skin treatment process (i.e., facial scrubs, microdermabrasion).

PEG-7 Glyceryl Cocoate is an emollient and solubilizer for oils and lipophilic (oil-soluble) ingredients in water-based mild cleansing formulations, such as makeup removers, cleansers, and shampoos, derived from natural raw material (coconut oil).

PEG-35 Soy Glycerides is a water-soluble ethoxylated vegetable oil derivative from refined soybean oil. It is a waxy paste that is stable under pH extremes, nonionic, and compatible with other ionic species in formulation.

PEG-8 Laurate is a nonionic emulsifier created by esterifying high-quality lauric acid with polyethylene glycols. It is a clear liquid soluble in water; the pH of a 3% aqueous solution is in the 4.5-7.0 range, with an HLB value of 12.8.

Hydrogenated Polyisobutene is a modified synthetic polymer. It is a clear, water-white, viscous liquid without odor. Its viscosity, flash point, and specific gravity depend on the average molecular weight (polymerization level), which ranges from 350 to 1300 Daltons.

Oleth-20 is an ethoxylated (with 20 moles of ethylene oxide) oleyl alcohol, a white, waxy solid without odor (virtually odorless).

PPG-2 Myristyl Ether Propionate is a non-oily polymer and a nearly dry feel emollient, making this ester a suitable selection for mineral oil replacement. It improves spreading and reduces the greasy feel of mineral oils, etc.

Ceteareth-25 is a nonionic emulsifier that is the 25-mole ethoxylate of a blend of cetyl and stearyl alcohols. It is a free-flowing, non-dusting microbead with an HLB of 15-17.
