Glycoxantine

Functions
Anti-cellulite
Sliming
Energizing agent

Glycoxantine is a water-soluble complex based on Xanthines (caffeine, theophylline, theobromine) and Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans (GAG) for the cosmetic treatment of localized adiposity.

Caffeine, Theobromine, and Theophylline are xanthines that are generally poorly soluble in water but present in optimal quantities in Glycoxantine.

  • Caffeine is present in coffee (Coffea Arabica).
  • Theobromine is found primarily in cocoa (Theobroma Cacao).
  • Theophylline is present mainly in Tea, which comes from the apical leaves of Camellia Sinensis.

Due to their lipolytic potential, xanthines are used in cosmetic applications as effective treatments for adiposity and cellulitis. They stimulate the mobilization of fatty acids in adipose tissue and boost lipolytic processes.

Hydrolyzed Glycosaminoglycans replenish hyaluronic acid and other GAGs. They also decrease inflammatory processes and lessen cellulite appearance.
