Stearoxymethicone/Dimethicone Copolymer is an off-white wax, an organomodified polysilicon produced by a reaction between polydimethylsiloxane and fatty alcohol. As a result of its chemical structure, it exhibits excellent solubility in many cosmetic oils and waxes including hydrocarbons, esters, and alcohols.

Stearoxymethicone/Dimethicone Copolymer can be used in a wide variety of cosmetics including treatment and make-up products. Stearoxymethicone/Dimethicone Copolymer enhances spreadability and emollient properties as well as improves luster and adhesion to the skin.
